-
NECK
NECK PAIN
Neck pain is most commonly caused by chronic stress and tension, poor postural alignment, or injury. Neuromuscular therapy can assist in lengthening the muscle, reducing inflammation, and realigning postural imbalances.
-
SHOULDER
SHOULDER PAIN
The four muscles comprising the rotator cuff are prone to injury from trauma or overuse. NMT can balance the musculature of the shoulder, allowing the area to heal and repair.
-
ARM
ARM PAIN
Pain in the arm is commonly caused by overuse of the musculature of the hand, arm, and shoulder. Myofascial release can reduce pain and restriction while improving range of motion.
-
BACK
BACK PAIN
84% of North Carolinians sought treatment for low back pain in 2006. Besides regular massage and stretching, Kinesio Taping helps relieve acute pain and prolong the positive effects of massage.
-
HIP
HIP PAIN
Hip pain can be due to pelvic imbalances resulting in misalignment. Cranio-Sacral therapy helps realign the pelvis by releasing spinal and cranial adhesions, allowing the pelvis to balance.
-
LEG
LEG PAIN
Aching legs, most often in the peroneals and IT band, are a common side effect of athletic activity. Sport massage addresses lactic acid buildup, reducing recovery time and improving performance.
-
KNEE
KNEE PAIN
Runner’s knee, a side effect of strenuous activity, can be due to muscular imbalance of the quadriceps. Knee stabilization can be achieved by combining sport massage and Kinesio Taping.
-
ANKLE
ANKLE PAIN
Scar tissue from previous ankle injuries is a common cause of pain and instability. Neuromuscular therapy can help break up scar tissue, increase flexibility, and improve range of motion.
