Crystal N.H. Cliff, N.C.L.M.B.T., CKTP
Crystal was a police officer with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department from 1993-2002. During that time she served in the David One and David Two districts as a patrol officer, assisted in instruction of CMPD officers in the use of service weapons as Range Safety Officer and capped off her career as the Volunteer Unit Coordinator for the CMPD where she supervised 206 civilian volunteers and their various duties within the department. Crystal is a 1993 graduate of Central Piedmont Community College with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Law Enforcement Technology and a 2004 graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Crystal was also an Emergency Medical Technician from 1993-2006 and served as a member of Matthews Rescue and EMS. In 2004, Crystal graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy and began an internship with the school immediately following graduation. Since 2005, Crystal has been an Instructor at Southeastern in Swedish Massage and Anatomy and Physiology. She is also a Student Clinic Instructor and the Community Outreach Coordinator.
Crystal is a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina and is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Crystal is President of the Noelle-Mae Corporation and CEO/Owner of WhyKnot Massage. Her personal focus is on sport massage and acute pain management. In both treatments, she utilizes Kinesio Taping and Neuromuscular Therapy. Crystal currently is the only massage therapist in N.C. who is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She is also currently passionately promoting Kinesio Taping, its usage in massage and bodywork therapy, and hopes to become a Kinesio Taping Instructor in the near future. Personally, she is passionate about both road and trail running and cycling. She will start her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the coming year.
